r : 03.9 <br /> SOLUTION: <br /> The County undertook to develop a computer program first in <br /> Child Suppport Enforcement to calculate arrearages and <br /> track all cases under order . The Child Support Enforcement <br /> and Data Processing Departments worke.0 closely together to <br /> insure a user-friendly and easily understood program. When <br /> the Child Support program came on line , we brought the <br /> first end result , a clear , easy to read payment history , to <br /> the Judges and Clerk of Court and received their approval . <br /> Having demonstrated the systems capability and ease of use <br /> we then entered into a contract with our Clerk through the <br /> State ' s Administrative Office of the Courts . We provided <br /> the hardware and software for an annual fee so that all <br /> child support cases would have the b.nefit of this system. <br /> The Clerk began posting all child support payments in 1987 , <br /> thereby reducing the number of bookkeeping steps . <br />
