As indicated in <br /> the attached work plan, the participation of the <br /> State in the planning process is welcomed and <br /> strongly encouraged ; <br /> (6 ) In accord with current policy, the County will <br /> continue to notify the State of adjacent develop- <br /> ment proposals, rezoning requests, or Land Use Plan <br /> amendments and solicit State comment relative to <br /> such activities; and <br /> (7 ) Concurrent with this letter, the Planning Depart- <br /> ment is directed to provide the State with copies <br /> of the 1976 Policy Statement, Task Force Report <br /> ( May, 1976) , and the Or nas County Land Use Plan <br /> and Zoning Ordinance with those sections and <br /> provisions relating to Eno River State Park <br /> highlighted. <br /> The County Commissioners trust that the foregoing <br /> addresses the State' s main concerns and indicates a commit- <br /> ment on our part to coordinated and cooperative planning. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Shirley E.
