She also noted that traffic impact had <br /> not been adequately addressed. <br /> Collins stated that the Board needed to be <br /> consistent in their policy about delay and <br /> denial . He reminded them that there was ample <br /> time for Staff to develop additional infor- <br /> mation to allow for further consideration . <br /> Kramer asked what concerns Staff could address <br /> at another meeting. Collins responded that <br /> Staff could address the concerns of traffic, <br /> slopes, more specifics about recreational uses, <br /> and perhaps Dennis Osborne of North State <br /> Utilities could be present to answer questions <br /> about the operation of this particular sewage <br /> disposal system. <br /> Best noted that the main issue is the alternate <br /> sewage disposal system and if there is a desire <br /> to be consistent, he felt a moratorium should <br /> be placed on alternate systems until such time <br /> as more information is available on the <br /> operation and failure rate of such systems. <br /> Kramer indicated, as well - as Best that the <br /> original motion should stand. <br /> Jacobs expressed the concern that the Board of <br /> Commissioners require the turn lane in Phase I . <br /> VOTE: 5 in favor. <br /> 2 opposed ( Pilkey and Lewis - both felt it <br /> should be deferred to allow Staff to address <br /> the concerns presented by the Board) . <br /> 1 abstained (Yuhasz - due to professional <br /> conflict of interest) . <br /> r? 3.
