What are conservation easements and what are permitted <br /> uses within designated conservation areas? <br /> If an existing structure is located within, an area <br /> proposed for dedication or protection by means of a <br /> co.nservatior, easement, how should it be treated? <br /> I have enclosed a copy of The Landowner' s pptions for Natural <br /> Her i t ape Protection which identifies various mechanisms for <br /> . protecting conservation lands in North Carolina. Panes 15-54 <br /> define those mechanisms referred to in the Plan text. Panes <br /> .54-Z5 contain, a copy of the Historic Preservation and <br /> Conservation Agreements Act. The provisions of that act <br /> define the limitations can uses of land under Section (2) . <br /> The Planning Board is to consider the above items anair, at <br /> a January 12 special meeting.
