C. <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of N. C. , <br /> Chapter 153A, Section 240, notice is hereby given that a <br /> public hearing will be held in the Orange County County <br /> Courthouse ( New) , 106 East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, N. C. , <br /> on Monday, February 22, 1988 at 7 : 30 p. m. for the purpose of <br /> giving all interested citizens an opportunity to speak for or <br /> against the assignment of house numbers on Rural Routes 2 and <br /> 3 served by the Rougemont Post Office in northeast Orange <br /> County ( Little River Township) . <br /> ASSJPMENT Qa HOUSE NUMBER$ <br /> Rural Routes 2 and 3 , Rougemont are proposed for a change <br /> from existing rural box numbers to a system of permanently <br /> assigned house numbers. These two routes encompass an area <br /> within Little River Township, including Caldwell and portions <br /> of Highways 57 and 157 and Guess Road . The following roads, <br /> either in their entirety or portions thereof , form the <br /> general boundaries for the area : Kiger Road, New Sharon <br /> Church Road , Bill Poole Road, McBroom Road , Bunny Road, <br /> Sawyer Road , Hall Dairy Road, Holly Ridge Road, Brown Road, <br /> Breeze Road, Mary Hall Road, and Blalock Road. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing <br /> and be heard. Public comment must be received during the <br /> public hearing. Changes may be made in the advertised <br /> proposal which reflect debate, objections and discussion at <br /> the hearing. <br /> Questions regarding the proposal should be directed to Don <br /> Powell in the Orange County Planning Department. The <br /> Planning Department is located in the HAgricultural - <br /> Environmental Center, 306F Revere Road , in Hillsborough. <br /> Office hours are from 8 :00 a. m. to 5 : 00 p. m. , Monday through <br /> Friday.
