• <br /> 020 <br /> permissible standards. <br /> (c) In considering and acting on all requests for permits <br /> pursuant to this article, the Manager shall consider, but <br /> shall not be limited to, the following in issuing or <br /> denying such permit: the timeliness of the application; <br /> the nature of the requested activity; previous experience <br /> with the applicant; the nature of the event; the time of <br /> the event; other activities in the vicinity of the location <br /> proposed; the effect of the activity on surrounding areas; <br /> previous violations, if any, of the applicant. <br /> (d) Upon receipt of a permit to exceed maximum <br /> permissible unpermitted sound levels, the applicant will <br /> pay to Orange County an administrative fee of $5.00. <br /> (e) Permit holders agree to cooperate with the Orange <br /> County Sheriff's Department in enforcing this ordinance <br /> by having the applicant available at the site of the <br /> event during the entire time for which a permit has <br /> been issued and being capable of assisting the Sheriff in <br /> enforcing this Ordinance. Failure of the applicant to be <br /> present or to assist the Sheriff as herein prescribed shall <br /> be cause for revocation of the permit. <br /> Article VI: Burden of Proof Regarding Exceptions <br /> In any proceeding based upon this ordinance, if an exception stated in <br /> this ordinance would limit obligation, limit liability, or eliminate either an <br /> obligation or liability, the person who would benefit from the application of the <br /> exception shall have the burden of proving that the exception applies and that <br /> -6- <br />
