The Advisory Council also indicated a <br /> desire for limited public access, and she noted <br /> that the request had also be addressed in the <br /> text revisions. <br /> Eddleman indicated he felt the revisions were <br /> much better than the greenways as presented at <br /> public hearing, and that the public reponse would <br /> be more favorable with the revisions. He <br /> indicated he felt another public hearing was in <br /> _ order. Black responded that there would be two <br /> public meetings held on the revisions and that <br /> recommendations from the Planning Board and the <br /> Recreation and Parks Advisory Council would be <br /> forwarded to the County Manager for presentation <br /> to the Board of Commissioners. She indicated the <br /> Manager felt the Plan could go to the Board of <br /> Commissioners on February 1 . <br /> Collins informed the Board that he had been asked <br /> if the Plan was adopted , would it become <br /> automatically a part of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> for Orange County. He noted that according to <br /> provisions for amendments to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan, and the fact that becoming a part of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan had not been advertised, a <br /> public hearing would have to be conducted to <br /> address the issue of whether or not the Master <br /> Recreation and Parks Plan should become a part of <br /> the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Jacobs asked that Occoneechee Mountain and Seven— <br /> Mile Creek be included as unique natural areas of <br /> Orange County. <br /> MOTION: Yuhasz moved to delay consideration of the Master <br /> Recreation and Parks Plan until the January 12 or <br /> January 25 Planning Board Meeting In order to <br /> obtain the County Attorney ' s opinion on what uses <br /> can or will be allowed in the natural <br /> conservation areas.
