110 <br /> Further Proposed Changes to the Zoning Ordinance <br /> Article 6. 16 . 6 - Home Occupancy <br /> Submitted by: G. Norman Acker , III , Attorney for Henry Morris , <br /> Harold Herndon and Eddie Crain. <br /> 6. 16. 6 . 2 (d) The on-premises sale and delivery of goods which <br /> are not produced on the premises is prohibited, <br /> except in the case of the delivery and sale of good <br /> incidental to the provision of service. Goods , <br /> materials, uniforms and other items for use in the <br /> home occupation shall not be delivered to the home <br /> occupation by anyone other than the permit holder ,_ <br /> his immediate family or an employee . <br /> 6. 16 . 6. 2 (g) Any outside storage of goods or materials for use <br /> in the home occupation shall be totally screened <br /> from the road and from adjacent property in the <br /> same manner as the accessory structures . The <br /> storage area shall not exceed 500 square . feet. The <br /> setback from the side and rear property lines shall <br /> be the same as for an accessory building used as a <br /> home occupation. The storage of cars to be <br /> serviced or already serviced by an auto repair shop <br /> shall be considered goods or materials as used in <br /> this subsection ( g) . <br /> 6. 16. 6.2 (i) A Home Occupation Permit shall not be granted for <br /> any use [ alternatively , for auto repair business] <br /> located on a privately maintained road unless <br /> written consent is obtained from at least one-half <br /> of the property owners other than the applicant <br /> who are responsible for the road ' s maintenance, or , <br /> unless the applicant agrees as a condition of <br /> his permit to assume all maintenance <br /> responsibilities for said road from the point of <br /> connection with a public road to his property . <br /> 6.16. 6.4 (add the following new paragraphs after the <br /> existing fourth paragraph) <br /> Prior to consideration of the application for <br /> approval of a Home Occupation Permit , the public <br /> shall be given an opportunity to comment in person <br /> or in writing to the Zoning Officer . <br /> The Zoning Officer shall post on the applicant ' s <br />
