Limitations on the effects of odor or electrical <br /> interference on adjoining properties. <br /> In addition to the above, provisions are recommended which <br /> describe the permit approval procedures. <br /> Comments were received at the public hearing which indicated <br /> that the proposed amendments were not stringent enough. <br /> Specifically, comments were received that auto repair shops <br /> should not be home occupations, and home occupations should <br /> not be permitted on private roads. <br /> Subsequent to the meeting, an attorney representing citizens <br /> protesting an existing home occupation submitted proposals <br /> for the consideration of the Board of Commissioners and <br /> Planning Board. The County Attorney ' s response to the <br /> proposals is attached. <br /> At its January 18 , 1988 meeting, the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the proposed amendments as presented <br /> at public hearing. The Planning Board also recommended <br /> referral of the additional proposals to the Ordinance Review <br /> Committee for further study. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> Zoning Ordinance text amendments and referral of the <br /> additional proposals to the Ordinance Review Committee as <br /> recommended by the Planning Board. <br />
