029 <br /> BYLAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS BOARD <br /> ARTICLE I <br /> PURPOSE The purpose of this Board is to meet monthly to <br /> review, analyze and recommend to the Orange County <br /> Commissioners any action on Environmental problems of <br /> the County. <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> MEETINGS This Board shall meet on the first (1st) Thursday of <br /> each month and have called meetings when necessary. <br /> ARTICLE III <br /> MEMBERSHIP <br /> Section 1 This Board shall consist of fifteen (15) members <br /> appointed by the County Commissioners. Composition <br /> of the Board shall include individuals from a <br /> spectrum of vocations and professions including, but <br /> not limited to, business, engineering, economics, <br /> health, natural and water resources, hazardous <br /> material, solid waste, education, or other <br /> specialties related to environmental management. <br /> Section 2 Each year the Board shall elect its Chairman. <br /> Section 3 Each member shall be appointed to serve a three (3) <br /> year term. <br /> Section 4 Five (5) senior members shall rotate off each year. <br /> Section 5 The Commissioners may appoint a member to succeed him <br /> or her. <br />
