Agreement with Inter-Faith Council <br /> NUMBERS: HILLSBOROUGH 732-8181 <br /> - HILLSBOROUGH 732-9361 <br /> CHAPEL HILL 967-9251 <br /> MEBANE 227-2031 <br /> UAM 6 -7331 <br /> *************************************************D*** ********88********* <br /> PURPOSE: To approve execution of the Emergency Shelter Grant Agreement, <br /> Funding Approval and Agreement with the subgrantee - Inter- <br /> Faith Council for Social Service. <br /> BACKGROUND: On December 10, 1987, Orange County was awarded $13,648 in <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant funds to be used for the IFC Homeless <br /> Shelter in Chapel Hill. Thus, the Interfaith Council will <br /> serve as subrecipient and expend the funds for food, clothing, <br /> maintenance supplies and furnishings for the shelter. Addition- <br /> ally, $6,551 of the total award will be used to assist with <br /> rehabilitation of the Old Police Building used by the Shelter. <br /> The County must execute a Grant Agreement and Funding Approval <br /> form in order to receive the grant funds. These documents <br /> along with the approved Grant Application and regulations <br /> constitute a contract between NRCD and Orange County.
