AGREEMENT <br /> 101 <br /> This agreement is entered into this day of <br /> 1988, by and between; the County of Orange ("County") and the <br /> Interfaith Council for Social Service, Inc. a non—profit corporation <br /> ("Interfaith"). <br /> WHEREAS, the County is the recipient of a $13,648 Emergency <br /> Shelter Grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, Interfaith was designated as the subgrantee in the grant <br /> application; and <br /> WHEREAS, by the terms of the Emergency Shelter Grant, the County <br /> and Interfaith must meet certain requirements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the premises and the mutual <br /> promises set forth below, the parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. As evidenced by the attached current year budget showing its <br /> source of funds, Interfaith certifies in accordance with Federal and <br /> • State Emergency Shelter Grant Program requirements that it can and <br /> will supplement or match the Emergency Shelter Grant program funds. <br /> 2. Interfaith will expend $7,097 in grant funds for Operations <br /> and Sevices by no later than June 1, 1988, and will expend $6,551 for <br /> rehabilitation services by no later than near 1, 1988. No funds <br /> will be reimbursed for expenditures incurred before the date of <br /> execution of the Grant Agreement. Interfaith will make a concentrated <br /> effort to expend all funds as rapidly as possible. <br /> 3. Interfaith will expend the funds in the following manner: <br /> 1. Operating Costs $6,033 <br /> a. Maintenance <br /> b. Appliances _ <br /> c. Furnishings <br /> d. Maintenance Supplies <br /> 2. Essential Services 1,064 <br /> a. Food <br /> b. Clothing <br /> - 3. Rehabilitation <br /> a. Asbestos removal 6,551 <br /> TOTAL $13,648 <br /> 4. Upon Interfaith's presentation of receipts of expenditures <br /> made in accordance with paragraph 3, the County shall reimburse <br /> Interfaith with grant funds. <br /> 5. Interfaith will continue the operation of the shelter for the <br /> homeless for at least 3 years. <br />
