021 BY LAWS OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS BOARD <br /> ARTICLE I <br /> PURPOSE The purpose of this Board is to meet monthly to review, <br /> analyze and recommend to the Orange County Commissioners any <br /> action on Environmental problems of the County. <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> MEETINGS This Board shall meet on the first (1st) Thursday of each <br /> month and have called meetings when necessary. <br /> ARTICLE III <br /> MEMBERSHIP <br /> Section 1 This Board shall consist of fifteen (15) members appointed <br /> by the County Commissioners. <br /> Section 2 Each year the Board shall elect it's Chairman. <br /> Section 3 Each member shall be appointed to serve a three (3) year <br /> term. <br /> Section 4 Five (5) senior members shall rotate off each year. <br /> Section 5 The Commissioners may appoint a member to succeed him or <br /> herself. <br /> ARTICLE IV <br /> COMMITTEES <br /> Section 1 The Board shall consist of four (4) Committees. <br /> A. Hazardous Material <br /> B. Natural Resources <br /> C. Solid Waste <br /> D. Water <br /> Section 2 Each committee shall have no less than three (3) members. <br /> Section 3 Any other matters not related to these committees shall be <br /> disposed of by the full Board. <br /> ARTICLE V <br /> PAID STAFF This Board may hire a part-time Secretary. <br />
