Remaining cabinetzy, sheetrock, wall framing and <br />floor framing to remain intact. Provide for drying-out of existing joists. <br />NOTE: If further damage is discovered after existing floor covering and <br />subfloor .are removed, the Owner, Contractor and Rehabilitation Specialist <br />will meet to review the work, determine a course of action and, if necessary, a <br />cost for any additional work. Work shall be perfoz7ned in an efficient, <br />workmanlike manner so as to keep "down time" to a minimum. <br />2. In Batlu•oom, remove existing vanity, sink and toilet. Remove existing hand- <br />held shower device for re-installation. Remove existing shoe mold, <br />baseboard, floor covering and tznderlayment to subfloor. Remove existing the <br />shower surrounds, existing the wainscoting, and all existing sheetrock on <br />walls to bare framing. Inspect the walls• behind toilet, vanity and arQUnd the <br />pantzy for mold/moist<zre damage. Remove approximately 1S sq, ft. of <br />damaged subfloor adjacent to Bathroom/Kitchen wall. Remaining ceiling <br />sheetrock, wall framing and float framing to remain intact. Provide for <br />drying-out of existing joists. NOTE: If fiu-ther damage is discovered after <br />existing floor covering and subfloor are removed, the Owner, Contractor and <br />Rehabilitation Specialist will meet to review the work, determine a course of <br />action and, if necessary, a cost for any additional work. Woxk shall be <br />performed in azz efficient, workmanlike manner so as to keep "down tune" and <br />temporary connections to a minimum. <br />3. Supply and izistall new subfloor, approximately 30 sq. ft., over existing joists <br />where subflooi was renaoved in Kitchen and Bathroom, complete. Elevation <br />of top of new subfloor to match elevation of top of existing remaining <br />subfloor. Top surface of subfloor to be smooth, level and uniform. New <br />materials to match existing as close as practical. <br />4: While crawlspace is contained establish negative pressure to conduct mold <br />remediation. Reniediation to be done by HEPA vacuum and wipe clean mold- <br />contaminated wood struct<ues in the crawlspace using non-toxic, disinfecting, <br />mold-inlaibiting solution. Remove debris from crawlspace, including <br />abandoned heater and debris on soil directly under Kitchen and Bathroom <br />where subfloor is removed. <br />TOTAL PRICE ~ <br />
