All work to be done in accordance with the Limited Mold Inspection conducted by Carolina Environmental, Inc. and dated August 24, 2006. I. WORKSITE PREPARATION A. CONTA]Q~IMENT Before construction, supply and install containment bar7iers for the Bathroom, Kitchen and crawlspace using one layer of 6-mil polyethylene securely attached with furring strips. crawlspace containment barrier shall accommodate negative pressure during the course of crawlspace remediation work. Post proper signage in the work area. All warning signs must remain posted until clearance is passed. 2. During the period of remediation work, supply and install air scrubbers intermittently fihroughout the house to help cleanse the air and reduce airborne spore concentrations. Continue to scrub the air for forty-eight {48) hours after the remediation work is complete. B. CLEANING 1. Clean the interior of the unit in all areas that mold was disturbed and prepare the runt far post-remediation verification inspection. HEPA vacuum all ,horizontal surfaces, to include all floors, windowsills, troughs, baseboards and casing. Bag or otherwise containerize (poly- wrap) mold-contaminated debris for disposal offsite. .~ ~. C. POST-REMEDIATION EXAMINATION After completion of all work that disturbed mold and any other mold remediation activities, a qualified person shall perform apost- remediation verification examination. Work disturbing mold- contaminated areas is not considered complete until post-remediation verification examination is complete. 31
