(Coordinated Agency <br /> Transportation) Vehicle and Driver Lease Rate Schedule effective <br /> Sept. 1, 1987. The request is to increase the minibus (24 passenger) <br /> rate from $.50 to $.55 per mile and the driver rate from $5.00 to <br /> $7.00 per hour. <br /> • <br /> BACKGROUND: The Orange County Department on Aging maintains the back-up vehicles <br /> for loan to C.A.T. agencies in emergency situations, and to approved <br /> agencies for short term loans:. An approved and uniform lease rate <br /> is necessary for purposes and to promote the coordinated <br /> use of all C.A.T. vehicles. if approved, the vehicle leasing rate <br /> would cover the increased minibus operations costs for the Depart- <br /> ment on Aging and make it easier to recruit short term drivers for <br /> C.A.T. program. <br /> . .___RECQNIMENDATIQI (S)_. -..._-- <br /> Approve C.A.T.
