• <br /> r w; <br /> 050 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> and <br /> TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> CONTRACT FOR SOCIAL AND SENIOR CENTER SERVICES <br /> TIES AGREEMENT, entered into as this 1st day of July, 1987, by and <br /> between Orange County, (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor" or Agency") <br /> and the Triangle J Council of Governments, (hereinafter referred to as "COG"). <br /> WITNESSETH THAT : <br /> WHEREAS, COG desires to engage the Agency to render certain social <br /> services (hereinafter described in connection with an undertaking or protect and <br /> referred to as the "Project") which is to be wholly or partially financed by a <br /> grant from Administration on Aging through N.C. Division of Aging (hereinafter, <br /> along with the appropriate auditing agency of the entity making such grant, <br /> referred to as the "concerned Funding Agency or Agencies"), said grant being a <br /> Contract for Social and Senior Center Services (hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Grant") and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency desires to render such er <br /> svices in connection with <br /> the Pro jet: <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and the mutual <br /> convenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties hereto agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Employment of the Agency. COG hereby agrees to engage the <br /> Agency and the Agency hereby agrees to perform the services hereinafter set <br /> forth in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein. <br /> 2 Local Support. In accepting this contract providing for $100,484 of <br /> federal funds and $5,911 of the state funds, the Agency agrees to provide not <br /> less than $11,822 of acceptable non-federal cash and $-0- acceptable <br /> in-�dnd contributions. <br /> 3. Scope of Services. Agency shall do, perform and carry out in a <br /> satisfactory and proper manner the work and er <br /> svices described in Attachment <br /> "A" (or as described in FY 88 Area Plan) which is attached hereto and made a <br /> part hereof. <br /> 4. Time of Performance. The services of the agency are to commence no <br /> later than fifteen (15) days after the execution of this contract and shall be <br /> undertaken and pursued in such sequence as to asure their expeditious <br /> completion and as may be required in Attachment "A". All services required <br /> hereunder shall be completed on cr before June 30, 1988. <br />
