, <br /> 185 <br /> INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM: 8706-1804 <br /> Drainage Problems - Wildwood Subdivision <br /> June 12, 1987 <br /> Page 3 <br /> can only be provided through a more in-depth evaluation of <br /> the total drainage pattern within the subdivision. <br /> I recommend that further plat approvals for existing phases <br /> and/or sections of Wildwood Subdivision be withheld until the <br /> the—following are completed : • <br /> 1 . The developer reimburses the County for the cost of <br /> employing the services of a registered engineer to <br /> conduct a detailed evaluation of the drainage problems <br /> in Wildwood Subdivision and prepare a stormwater <br /> management plan to resolve identified problems, <br /> including problems associated with the existence of <br /> underground springs both in existing portions of the <br /> subdivision and proposed additions thereto; <br /> 2. Submission to and approval by both Orange County and the <br /> N.C. Department of Transportation of the stormwater <br /> management plan as described in 11 above; and <br /> 3. Installation, by the developer._ of all required <br /> improvements - as shown on the approved stormwater <br /> management plan. <br /> If legally possible, I would further recommend that no <br /> additional building permits be issued for dwellings in <br /> Wildwood Subdivision until the above plans have been prepared <br /> and approved, and improvements installed. <br /> 1 . <br />
