018 <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local <br /> share of paving North Carolina State Rcad (s) #1881 and #1794 , also <br /> known as Moriah Hill Road and Timberly Drive, in Chapel Hill <br /> Township, Orange County, North Carolina . <br /> 2 . That basis for assessment for the local share of the <br /> costs of this project shall be the number of lots served , or <br /> subject to be served , at an equal rate per lot . <br /> 3. Orange County will assess the total local share <br /> according to the basis set out in number 2 above which local share <br /> is estimated to be $34 , 915 . 16 and represents approximately Thirty- <br /> nine and Two Tenths percent (39 . 2%) of the total project cost. (A <br /> portion of the non-local share of this project represents a <br /> reserve established by N.C. D.O.T. for the acquisition of right of <br /> way necessary for the project. The status of right of way will <br /> not be determined by N.C. D.O.T. until the local share of the <br /> project is paid by Orange County to N.C. D.O.T. If the necessary <br /> right of way cannot be acquired voluntarily by N.C. D.O.T. , the <br /> project will not be undertaken. ) <br /> 4 . No assessments of this project will be held in <br /> abeyance. <br /> 5. The assessments shall be paid in the following manner : <br /> a. Within thirty (30) days after the notice of <br /> confirmation of the assessment role is published, each <br /> owner of the property may pay his assessment in full. <br /> 2 <br />
