A 27278 <br /> 28t <br /> June 23, 1987 <br /> Mr. James Rae Freeland <br /> c/o Apple Creek Realty <br /> Daniel Boone Antique Village <br /> Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 <br /> Subject: Wildwood Subdivision - Drainage Problems <br /> Dear Mr. Freeland : <br /> On June 16, 1987 , the Board of Commissioners voted <br /> unanimously to withhold further approvals of subdivision <br /> plats for Wildwood Subdivision until such time as a <br /> stormwater management plan is prepared, approved and <br /> implemented for the development. In addition, no further <br /> building permits are to be issued for new home construction <br /> within the development. <br /> This action was taken due to widespread drainage problems <br /> identified within the development and the need TO correct <br /> same. Further development, either through subdivision <br /> development or building construction, will only worsen the <br /> situation. <br /> The suspension of permits and plat approvals will remain in <br /> effect until released by the Commissioners . This action does <br /> not affect any construction for which a building permit has <br /> been issued or for which subdivision plat approval has been <br /> granted. - <br /> Orange County is seeking the services of a registered <br /> engineer to prepare the stormweter management plan. You will <br /> be expected to reimburse the County for the cost of plan <br /> preparation. You will also be expected to implement the plan <br /> upon its completion and approval . <br /> While not related to the drainage problem, note that <br /> residents of the development have complained about the <br /> absence of toilet facilities for construction workers . <br /> Alert contractors working in the development that they <br /> must provide toilet facilities for workmen in accordance with <br />
