Py iDYtion <br /> ( a) A request for funding for water and sewer utilities <br /> under the terms of this policy may be made by any <br /> individual , agency, corboration or any municipality <br /> within Orange County . AlI requests shall be made to <br /> the County Manager ' s Office accompanied by the <br /> required application mc-erial . ( WSP) <br /> Upon receiving a request for water or sewer <br /> utilities, the County Manager will gather the <br /> followinc information : <br /> - A map End brief report identifying existing and <br /> anticipated areas c• development that could be <br /> served by the recuested water or sewer utilities . <br /> - Approximate additional cost of installing <br /> oversized utilities -o serve the development in <br /> the area of the proposed project . <br /> - Signed statement of te water or sewer service <br /> provider to whose system the requested utilities <br /> will be connected, stating their willingness to <br /> serve the proposed p-eject as well as any other <br /> antic ' _ted development in the area specified by <br /> the Cc :.r.-v. The statement should attest to their <br /> capabHH ; ties for meeting all the required needs <br /> of utility services for the project including <br /> foreseeable expansion as well as other existing <br /> and potential developent specified by the County <br /> in the area of the ;,reject . (WSP) <br /> (2) It shall be the policy cf Orange County to fund <br /> major water and sewer utilities to a reasonable <br /> paint a ; cng the property line of an approved <br /> project, within the 1 : m tetions of available funds . <br /> Major water and sewer extensions are defined as <br /> projects outside of existinc service areas where <br /> pipe sizes greater than eght ( 6} inches in <br /> diameter E-e extended more tttn 750 feet beyond <br /> existing facilities .
