WHEREAS, the CITY in the future may have a need for water y <br /> ate r fro m <br /> m <br /> the TOWN to serve certain areas within the CITY ' s service area <br /> when a failure in the CITY ' s water supply, distribution or treat- <br /> ment system creates an emergency for the CITY. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of One Dollar ( S1. 00) and the <br /> benefits and detriments moving between the parties, and <br /> especially in consideration of making a cooperative effort to <br /> alleviate water shortages, the CITY and the TOWN, for themselves, <br /> their successors and assigns, do mutually agree as follows : <br /> 1. A water and sanitary_ sewer-_ serv.ice area:boundary line is <br /> hereby established as -described in Attachment A and shown on <br /> Attachment B. It is understood and agreed that the area located <br /> westotittheoboundary line shall receive water and sanitary sewer <br /> service om the:�TOWN and the <br /> area located east: of-the..boundary <br /> line shall receive water and sanitary sewer service from the. CITY. <br /> 2.
