Fikes <br /> Selection Criteria <br /> NUMBER: <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To receive comments from the public <br /> concerning <br /> FY1987 Housing Demonstration Grant the proposed <br /> Application. <br /> BACKGROUND: The North Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Community to conduct a public hearing <br /> g o obtain citizen's <br /> comments at the beginning of the Housing <br /> Demonstration Application process. Coats received during this <br /> public hearing will assist the Housing and Community Development <br /> Debt in designing an innovative and effective project ch <br /> improve the housing problems of low and moderate income <br /> residents, <br /> Eligible Projects include those designed for: <br /> 1. Maintenance of Low and Moderate Income Housing; <br /> Adaptive Reuse of Structures for Conversion to Low and Moderate <br /> Income Housing: <br /> 3. Self-Help Approaches to Housing Rehabilitation or Construction <br /> for Low and Moderate Irk Persons. <br /> A total of $550,000 is available from NRCD for this program for <br /> the entire state.
