No. $ <br /> United States of America <br /> State of North Carolina <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> Sanitary Sewer Bond Anticipation Note <br /> The County of Orange, in the State of North Carolina, <br /> is justly indebted and for value received hereby promises to pay <br /> to the bearer on the 16th day of December, 1987, the principal <br /> sum of <br /> THOUSAND DOLLARS <br /> and to pay interest thereon from the date hereof at the rate of <br /> per centum ( %) per annum, payable upon the presenta- <br /> tion and surrender of this note at its maturity. Both the prin- <br /> cipal of and the interest on this note are payable at <br /> in , in <br /> any coin or currency of the United States of America which at the <br /> time of payment is legal tender for the payment of public and <br /> private debts. For the prompt payment hereof, both principal and <br /> interest as the same become due, the full faith and credit of <br /> said County of Orange are hereby irrevocably pledged. <br /> This note is given for money borrowed in the amount of <br /> the face of this note in anticipation of the receipt of the <br /> proceeds of the sale of a like amount of Sanitary Sewer Bonds, <br /> duly authorized by an order adopted by the Board of Commissioners <br /> for said County on March 24, 1987, which order has taken effect, <br /> and this note is issued pursuant to and in full compliance with <br /> The Local Government Bond Act, as amended, Article 9, as amended, <br /> of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina and a <br /> resolution duly passed by the Board of Commissioners for said <br />
