r <br /> Ud( <br /> TO: ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD MEMBERS <br /> In order to give some background to our attempts to receive coment from <br /> the Town Of Mebane, I will briefly chronicle our efforts to keep the Town aware of <br /> the proposed Sunset Ridge Subdivision. <br /> August 1986- Meeting with Paul Young (Zoning Manager of the Town of Mebane) to <br /> show him plans for Sunset Ridge I, drove to the site and showed him <br /> approximate boundaries. <br /> March 1987- Meeting with Paul Young to give him plans for Sunset Ridge II. <br /> He was also given storm water management plans and asked to review <br /> these and let us know if there were any questions or concerns. <br /> April 1987- Met with Elaine Hicks;Acting :Town Manager.. (Mr Young was out with <br /> medical problems. ) We requested a letter from the Town of Mebane <br /> asking for comment on the proposed subdivision. <br /> April 10, Elaine Hicks writes letter stating Sunset Ridge is or will be out of <br /> 1987 their jurisdiction. <br /> May 1, - Meeting with Paul Young to request additional comment on subdivision. <br /> 1987 Presented him with a revised storm water management program which <br /> contained wet ponds instead of dry retention basins as per the <br /> suggestions of Warren Faircloth. <br /> May 8, `/ Talked with Mr. Young who indicated that he would not be writing an <br /> 1987 additional letter as he felt that the subdivision was not in his <br /> jurisdiction. He did say he would write a statement indicating,' that <br /> the Town of Mebane receives its water from Quaker Lake in Graham. <br /> Lisa Pakenham Developer Sunset Ridge Subdivision <br />
