These three <br /> ponds will filter runoff from the site, trap the pollutants, and the <br /> biological activity in the ponds will break down many of the pollutants. <br /> Detention ponds are necessary for this subdivision because of its <br /> location adjacent to the water supply for the Town of Mebane. <br /> The plan for this subdivision meets the Ordinance requirements. <br /> I <br />
