To reduce <br /> confusion by the general public and to insure consistency, the <br /> public notification procedures for amendments to ordinances have <br /> been reviewed to identify inconsistencies. <br /> The proposed amendment to Section VIII-B would require that the <br /> first advertisement of a notice of public hearing regarding a <br /> proposed ordinance amendment appear in a newspaper not less than <br /> ten (10) and not more than twenty-five <br /> hearing. The amendment would provide uniformity between <br /> advertisement requirements in the Zoning Ordinance and the <br /> Subdivision Regulations.
