For portions of the <br /> watershed draining directly to non Class A II <br /> segments of the reservoirs, the Water Quality Basin <br /> Area may extend within the watershed area of the reservoir <br /> to a point beyond either the ridge line of the reservoir <br /> watershed or two (2) miles from the shoreline of the <br /> reservoir at normal pool level, whichever is the shorter <br /> . distance. The Water Quality Basin Area shall not overlap <br /> the Water Quality Critical Area. In a case where the two <br /> mile distance is the shortest applicable distance, and <br /> where there are no nearby identifiable features on Durham <br /> County Tax Maps to indicate the Water Quality Basin Area <br /> boundary, said boundary may be set at the nearest identi- <br /> fiable feature between two (2) and three (3) miles from <br /> • the shore line at normal pool level. The boundaries for the <br /> Water Quality Basin Area shall be set at identifiable <br /> features on Durham County Tax Maps such as streets, <br /> streams, railroads, easements, or property lines. A property <br /> � ' owner may at their own option and expense employ a registered <br /> land surveyor to mark on the ground by survey for recordation <br /> the two (2) mile line as the boundary of the Water Quality ' <br /> Basin Area. <br /> _ . C. SitLe v, equc _ . ---1 -Single family subdivisions are exempt <br /> from any site plan requirements but are still subject to all <br /> other requirements of this section. All multi-family, <br /> apartment, townhouse, and condominium residential <br /> developments shall conform to plan requirements set forth <br /> in Section VIII, subsection 3 , paragraph (b) and (d) . <br /> All commercial, office and industrial developments shall <br /> . , _- ; conform to plan requirements set forth in Section XIII, <br /> 1. subsection 1, paragraph (b) and subsection 5, <br /> paragraph (g) . Final site plan approval authority shall be • <br /> vested with the Board of County Commissioners. All develop- <br /> ment activities or site work conducted after approval of <br /> • <br /> the site plan shall conform with the specifications of the <br /> site plan.
