�. y 010 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Staff recommends rezoning of the property from <br /> R-2 to R-3 for the following reasons: <br /> 1 . Projected pump station capacities permit additional <br /> units to be developed. <br /> 2. The change from R-2 to R-3 is consistent with a "step- <br /> down" approach to zoning in the area, with higher <br /> densities near N.C. 86 and lower densities further <br /> removed. <br /> 3 . Streets within Wildwood Subdivision are capable of <br /> handling additional traffic. <br /> A letter has been submitted by the applicant's age <br /> ( See attached letter. ) <br /> The Planning Staff further recommends continuation of the <br /> public hearing until the Board of Commissioners June 16, <br /> 1987 meeting at which time the recommendation of the Town of <br /> Hillsborough may be entered into the record. <br />
