Marshall : <br /> I write to express my support for the ordinance to ban the steel <br /> jaw leghold trap in Orange County. I hope you will vote to ban <br /> such traps on June 16 . I can see nothing good , and a great deal <br /> of bad, in them . Certainly they are a very inhumane way to deal <br /> with wild animals and, even if they weren't, they would still be <br /> a danger to pets and to children. I would like to think that our <br /> county is free of such devices . <br /> I would appreciate hearing your opinion about this issue .
