The county is just too <br /> populous now for its laws to be supportive of trappers <br /> rather than the thousands of pet owners whose dogs (or other <br /> animals) can end up caught in steel-jaw traps and suffer <br /> tremendously. The trappers have just got to accept the fact <br /> that times have changed for our area and different values <br /> now lead the board of commissioners. <br /> Even though we are Republicans, Y know you will seri- <br /> ously consider our views and our request that all the com- <br /> missioners vote to enact the ban of the steel-jaw trap. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> William A.
