Orange County Animal Control Program staff will give <br /> balanced attention to all aspects of ordinance and <br /> license enforcement, including: <br /> -- patrolling the community on a regular and <br /> comprehensive basis to assure ordinance <br /> enforcement <br /> -- canvassing the community on a regular and <br /> comprehensive basis to assure proper <br /> licensing <br /> -- issuing appropriate warnings and prescribed <br /> citations for all violations <br /> -- investigating reported or suspected cases <br /> of animal cruelty <br /> -- inspecting commercial animal establishments <br /> and other premises required to have a permit <br /> -- protecting animals in danger or distress <br /> -- promoting public awareness of responsible <br /> animal ownership <br /> . The Program Director will present an annual program <br /> plan to accompany the <br /> program budget proposal and will report quarterly on <br /> activities and program progress implementing that <br /> plan. <br />
