14U <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The evaluation of the proposed private road in the Lloyd <br /> subdivision indicates that a private road is appropriate. <br /> The road as designed incorporates beneficial aspects. The <br /> design also limits its use to this subdivision, an essen- <br /> tially private use. Changing the design to expand its use to <br /> adjoining areas would involve incorporating undesirable <br /> features ( stream or drainage way crossings) . <br /> The subdivision satisfies two (2) of the five (5) <br /> conditions in item 2. The most significant factor is that <br /> the State would not accept the road for maintenance because <br /> of density requirements. <br /> Based on this evaluation, the Staff recommends that the <br /> proposed subdivision road be approved as a private road. <br /> Further subdivision of Tots served by this road may produce a <br /> situation where a public road should be required. At that <br /> time, the applicant would be required to construct the road <br /> to State standards. <br />
