Winton Place - Preliminary Plat <br /> yyyy ( Hillsborough Township) <br /> Presentation by Garrett. <br /> The property in question is located in Hillsborough <br /> Township on the north side of Orange Grove Road ( SR <br /> 1006) . There are nine (9) lots proposed out of <br /> approximately 40 acres, the average lot size is 4.4 <br /> acres excluding the rights-of-way. <br /> The zoning designation is Rural Residential ( R-1 ) <br /> with an overlay district of Upper Eno Protected <br /> Watershed ( PW II ) . The Land Use Plan designation is <br /> Rural Residential and Upper Eno Water Supply <br /> Watershed. <br /> All applicable agencies have reviewed and commented <br /> on the application. <br /> The Orange County Recreation Department request is <br /> not applicable, since the project is located in an <br /> area where a plan for recreation and parks has not <br /> been adopted. NCDOT has recommended that a flare <br /> design be provided for the Winton Drive - Orange <br /> Grove Road intersection. <br /> Approval of the Preliminary Plan subject to the flare <br /> intersection design recommended by NCDOT plus the <br /> following conditions: <br /> ( 1 ) Indicate the adjoining property owners south of <br /> the subject property ( lot 9) . <br /> ( 2) Provide impervious surface data for each lot <br /> shown on the plat. <br /> The application for preliminary subdivision plan <br /> approval was received on January 30, 1987. The 85 <br /> day review period expired on April 24, 1987 . The <br /> plat would have been considered by the Planning Board <br /> on April 20, 1987, but the meeting was postponed to <br /> April 27, 1987 due to a County holiday. <br /> MOTION: Walters moved approval .
