In addition, DoA staff had prepared recommendations based on space use for existing programs and for future growth. The Senior Citizens Board unanimously endorsed and supported the staff recommendations . I am enclosing a copy of those recommendations for your consideration in relation to future capital development plans and projections. The Board appreciates the Commissioners' support of services for senior citizens in our area. We recognize that the rapidly increasing senior citizen population will require careful planning for expansion and for effective use of existing resources . In this respect, the active participation of the County Manager' s office in senior citizen programs and Mr. Kittrell 's attendance at our meetings has also been very helpful to us.
