NORTH CAROLINA AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE PRIVATE INDUSTRY <br /> DURHAM COUNTY COUNCIL/CHIEF ELECTED OFFICIALS <br /> This is an Amendment to an Agreement between the Central Piedmont Employment <br /> and Training Private Industry Council (hereinafter "Council") and the Chief Elected <br /> Officials (or authorized signatory officials) as authorized representatives of the <br /> County of Durham, County of Orange and City of Durham (hereinafter collectively <br /> referred to as "Chief Elected Officials") . The date of this Amendment is <br /> March 23 , 1987. <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, on June 29, 1984, the Council and Chief Elected Officials entered into <br /> an Agreement pertaining to, among other things, the development and implementation <br /> of a job training plan pursuant to the Job Training Partnership Act (hereinafter <br /> "Agreement") ; the Agreement is incorporated herein by reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council and Chief Elected Officials have each agreed to an <br /> Amendment to Agreement, as set forth in this instrument; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Council and Chief Elected Officials agree as follows: <br /> 1. The name of the Central Piedmont Service Delivery Area and Private <br /> Industry Council is changed to the Research Triangle Service <br /> Delivery Area and Private Industry Council. <br /> 2.
