How much of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> preparation will be done in—house, and how much might require extra <br /> study by consultants will be assessed at a later date. <br /> Liars n i P n'n B rd Discussions have been held <br /> between members of the EDC and members of the Orange County Planning <br /> Board, and it has been agreed that a joint committee be established <br /> to oversee the study and the subsequent preparation of the ED element <br /> of the Comprehensive Plan. At its meeting on April 7, 1987, the <br /> Planning Board unanimously endorsed the EDC Preliminary Study, and <br /> encouraged its rapid completion. <br /> Funding required for the preliminary study is $5000. The only <br /> source available for funding is the County Contingency Account. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> 1) Approve in concept the development of a comprehensive ED <br /> plan for Orange County; and <br /> 2) Approve the preliminary study with funding to be appro- <br /> priated from the Contingency Account. <br />
