Amend Section VIII-B AMENDMENT PROCEDURE by <br /> changing public notification procedures for amend- <br /> ments to the Subdivision Regulations. The current <br /> requirement that public notice should appear not <br /> less than 15 days prior to a public hearing would <br /> be changed to not less than 10 days and not more <br /> than 25 days before the public hearing. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing <br /> and be heard. Public comment must be received during the <br /> public hearing. Those wishing to 0 <br /> provide competent material and substantial evidenceoasltomthe <br /> specific manner in which they are opposed to the amendments. <br /> Following the close of the public hearing, only evidence <br /> presented at public hearing will be examined by the Planning <br /> Board and Board of County Commissioners for decision. <br /> Changes may be made in the advertised proposal which reflect <br /> debate, objections and discussion at the hearing. <br /> Questions regarding the proposal should be directed to the <br /> Orange County Planning Department. The Planning epartment <br /> is located in the Orange County Agricultural/Environmental <br /> Center, 306F Revere Road, Hillsborough, N.C.
