0 7 0 Ms. Pam Jones Homestead Center Proposal page 2 <br /> Construction Documents/ Receipt of Bids: <br /> After review amd approval of the proposed <br /> design and scope of the project by the County <br /> at the completion of the Design Phase, <br /> Construction Documents including plans and <br /> specifications shall be prepared and the <br /> project advertised for bids in accordance <br /> with applicable statute limitations. <br /> Architect shall assist County in receiving and <br /> evaluating bids <br /> Construction Administration: <br /> During construction of the Project, Architect <br /> shall perform standard administration of the <br /> the Contract to ensure compliance with terms <br /> and specified standards. <br /> PROJECT SCOPE: <br /> Site Improvements: <br /> Access drives, parking facilities shall be <br /> designed to meet use requirements and zoning <br /> standards. Demolition of abandoned pool pump <br /> and other obsolete structures and site repairs <br /> are suggested. Landscaping treatment shall be <br /> presented. <br /> Building Exterior: <br /> Roof: A new roof design will be prepared as <br /> necessary, with details for framing, materials <br /> and specifications. <br /> Exterior Walls: Exterior appearance of the <br /> building will be adjusted to make the facility <br /> more presentable and inviting. This will <br /> entail window revisions/replacement and new <br /> wall finishes and trim. <br /> • <br /> Interior Improvements: <br /> Interior repairs/ finishes upgrading shall be <br /> considered to the extent permitted by budget <br /> and as necessary to facilitate modifications <br /> to plumbing, heating, electrical systems, as <br /> well as revisions to windows and other details <br /> Plumbing/ Heating/ Electrical: <br /> Condition of existing plumbing fixtures, lines <br /> and wastes shall be investigated and upgraded <br /> as needed for proper operation and service. <br />
