Tryon <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Dear Ms. Jones: <br /> North Carolina Special Olympics, Inc. seeks the approval of <br /> the Orange County Board of Commissioners for us to conduct a <br /> fireworks exhibit in conjunction with our 1987 Special Olympics <br /> State Summer Games. <br /> Per your request, the following information is provided: <br /> 1) North Carolina Special OLympics State Summer <br /> Games, May 22-24 Friday, May 22, 1987, Opening <br /> Ceremonies, Fetzer Field, UHC-Chapel Hill. <br /> 2) Fireworks display at approximately 9: 00 pm on the <br /> 22nd to be fired from Ridge Road in front of <br /> Boshamer Stadium on the UNC-CH campus.
