UNC Chapel Hill Permit <br /> PART VIII -RCRA ORGANIC AIR EMISSION REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. APPLICABILITY <br /> 1. Subpart CC applies to all tanks, containers, surface impoundments and/or miscellaneous <br /> units, identified in Condition VILLA., except as provided for in 40 CFR 264.1 and <br /> 264.1080(b) as adopted in 15A NCAC 13A .0109. <br /> 2. The Conditions of this Part apply to the hazardous waste management units identified below, <br /> for which required control equipment has been installed and is operational or are exempt <br /> from Subpart CC standards under 40 CFR 264.1082(c) as adopted in 15A NCAC 13A .0109. <br /> Table VIII.A.2.Hazardous Waste Management Units for Which Subpart CC Emissions <br /> Control Practices are Maintained <br /> HWMU Designation/ HWMU Description of Air Emission Control <br /> Identification Number Type Management Practices <br /> Building 488 Container Containers meet DOT regulations and are managed <br /> Storage in accordance with Container Level 1 Standards <br /> Building 531 Container Containers meet DOT regulations and are managed <br /> Storage in accordance with Container Level 1 Standards <br /> B. EMISSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY <br /> The Permittee shall install and maintain all regulated units and associated emission control <br /> technology in accordance with the detailed plans, schedules, information and reports as contained <br /> in Sections C, D, and F. <br /> C. GENERAL STANDARDS <br /> The Permittee shall comply with the applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 264, Subpart CC as <br /> adopted in 15A NCAC 13A .0109. <br /> D. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. For each tank, surface impoundment, or container which manages hazardous waste that is <br /> exempted from using air emission controls, a written report shall be submitted to the <br /> Department within fifteen (15) days of each occurrence when hazardous waste is placed in <br /> VIII-I <br />
