I see no elements <br /> warrenting comment from a recreation and park perspective. <br /> My recommendation concerning the preliminary plan for Gatemore calls for some <br /> designation of open space: an amount to be based on a ratio of 1 acre per 100 <br /> residents. (This is consistent <br /> thiswith <br /> developmenteno recommended <br /> d,ss�awould suggest <br /> that there are plans to rn <br /> that if land is designated from open space it be designated on the n rth`d veloprent <br /> end of the development with the potential for it to be expanded <br /> is expanded. <br /> This designated open space should be minimally developed with picnic tables, <br /> grills, and trash receptacles, and maintained so as to ensure a clean, safe <br /> area. <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to provide these staff comments.
