This <br /> zone focuses on the US 70, 1 -85 interchange and lies adjacent <br /> to the Durham County line. The area is currently designated <br /> as a Commercial - Industrial Transition Node in the Land Use <br /> Plan and substantial acreage is already zoned commercial . <br /> Durham city limits are also coterminous with the county line <br /> and the Durham (City ) Comprehensive Plan calls for the area <br /> to be annexed by 2005 . Employment estimates for zone 305 by <br /> the year 2010 were predicted to equal those currently <br /> existing in the adjacent Durham zone of 304.
