Submission of <br /> completed application is due Marbh 19 , 1987. These federal funds available <br /> will include an additonal $20 ,745 over the 1986-87 allocation . <br /> • <br /> 3ACKGROUNn : This is a yearly continuation application covering the following <br /> services which are a:.part of the Department on Aging's current- budget; <br /> Transportation, Senior Center Operation, Chore-Handihelper and Case Manage- <br /> ment (In-Home/Community) . DoA would emphasize Acess Services to facili- . • <br /> tate service delivery by a multitude of community organizations. All <br /> services were ranked high priority according to COG needs assessment. <br /> If approved, County matching funds would not increase over last year, . <br /> The additional funds will be used to maintain our current service obligations <br /> - spe.cifically to replace cuts in the Title V- Senior Worker Program such as <br /> - van drivers and Senior Center clerk/receptionists. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Approve the grant submittal. <br />
