Recreation and Parks Department will participate in the Project Team work- <br /> in-progress meetings. <br /> Planning Department <br /> A. Planning Department will assist Woolpert Consultants in developing <br /> proposals and recommendations for the Plan. <br /> B. Planning Department will be responsible for preparing any necessary <br /> graphics, maps, plates, etc., to help support the text of Component Four. <br /> C. Planning Department will participate in the Project Team work-in-progress <br /> meeting. <br /> COMPONENT FIVE/ACTION PLAN IMPLEMENTATION <br /> Woolpert Consultants <br /> A. Woolpert Consultants will organize and participate in a fifth work-in- <br /> progress meeting with the Project Team to discuss the action plan <br /> implementation of the Plan. <br /> B. Woolpert Consultants will formulate an Action Plan to meet the unmet <br /> recreation needs of Orange County. Each township will be studied and <br /> related to the County as a whole. The Action Plan will address unmet <br /> needs as it follows: (a) outdoor recreation program facilities, (b) <br /> public open space and park areas, and (c) indoor recreation facilities. <br /> Special emphasis will be placed on the utilization of existing resources. <br /> C. Woolpert Consultants will prepare detailed cost estimates of all proposed <br /> development improvements. <br /> D. Woolpert Consultants will be responsible for formating, typing, and <br /> quality control of Component Five of the Plan. <br /> E. Woolpert Consultants will assist the Recreation & Parks Department in <br /> preparing a 5 year and 20 year priority schedule for the Action Plan. <br /> F. Woolpert Consultants will organize and lead a third work-in-progress <br /> meeting with the Master Plan Advisory Group. Copies of a preliminary <br /> draft of Components One through Five of the Plan will be provided to each <br /> group member for review. <br /> Recreation and Parks Department <br /> A. Recreation and Parks Department will prepare a priority schedule of the <br /> Action Plan for land acquisition, construction of capital improvements <br /> and renovation of existing facilities to include a 5 year plan and a 20 <br /> year plan, the latter in 5 year segments. <br /> B. Recreation and Parks Department will write an Executive Summary of the <br /> Master Plan report highlighting the key issues and recommendations. <br /> C. Recreation and Parks Department will participate in both the Project Team <br /> and Master Plan Advisory Group work-in-progress meetings. <br /> 5 <br />
