Recreation and Parks Department <br /> A. Recreation and Parks Department will be responsible for writing a draft <br /> mission statement to be included in the Master Plan. <br /> B. Recreation and Parks Department will summarize the goals and objectives <br /> discussed during the start-up meeting and write a draft to be included in <br /> the Plan and deliver it to Woolpert Consultants for final typing and <br /> editing. <br /> Planning Department <br /> A. Planning Department will participate in the start-up meeting by assisting <br /> in goal and objective formulation consistent with those of Orange County. <br /> B. Planning Department will be responsible for preparing all graphics, <br /> including maps, plates, etc., which will help support the text of the <br /> Plan. Initial graphics to be completed during Component One include <br /> Plan cover design, large-scale vicinity map, county base map, and <br /> individual township base maps. • <br /> COMPONENT TWO/EVALUATION OF CURRENT AND PROJECTED FACTORS PERTINENT TO ORANGE <br /> COUNTY <br /> Woolpert Consultants <br /> A. Woolpert Consultants will organize and participate in a second <br /> work-in-progress meeting with the Project Team to review the work <br /> completed in Component One, and to discuss demographics and sociological <br /> factors relating to Orange County. Woolpert Consultants will assist in <br /> the identification of pertinent information to be used in the Plan. <br /> B. Woolpert Consultants will complete a written inventory of existing and <br /> potential recreation and park sites in Orange County. Inventory <br /> information previously assembled by the Recreation and Parks Department <br /> and base maps prepared by the Planning Department will assist Woolpert <br /> Consultants in completing this task. A photographic (35mm slides) <br /> inventory of existing facilities will be prepared by Woolpert <br /> Consultants. The photographic inventory will become the property of the <br /> County upon the Plan's completion. <br /> C. Woolpert Consultants will organize a Master Plan Advisory Group, composed <br /> of representatives from the Orange County community not involved in the <br /> actual production•of the Plan. The Advisory Group's function will be to <br /> review work-in-progress and provide community input into the Master Plan. <br /> The first evening meeting with the Master Plan Advisory Group will be to <br /> review completed work of components One and Two of the Plan. <br /> D. Copies of a preliminary draft of Components One and Two of the Plan will <br /> be provided to each group member for review. <br /> 2 <br />
