DURHAM - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To receive <br /> public comment on the order authorizing $200,000 Sanitary Sewer <br /> Bonds introduced at the Orange County Board of Commissioners meeting on <br /> February 2, 1987. Following the Public Hearing, the Board shall vote on <br /> the adoption of the order. The County Attorney will lead the Board through <br /> the proceedings. <br /> BACKGROUND:. The Local Government Bond Act, as amended, requires the Board to hear <br /> anyone who wishes to comment on the validity of the order or the <br /> advisability of issuing the bonds <br /> before voting on the adoption of <br /> the order. <br /> Adoption of the order authorizes the County to issue bonds in the amount <br /> of $200,000 for sanitary sewer purposes. <br /> • <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> - <br /> Adopt bond order. <br />
