19i <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, Orange County is eligible to receive $242,450 projects; and Senate Bill 2 <br /> funds over a two year period for sewer p j <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners committed to construct a <br /> sewer collection system in the Efland-Cheeks area of the County by <br /> a resolution adopted on November 20, 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> it has been the intent of the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> to finance a portion of this sewer collection system with Senate <br /> Bill 2 sewer funds since these funds became available; and <br /> WHEREAS, it was the intent of the Orange County Board of Commissioners to <br /> adopt a resolution allocating Senate Bill 2-funds to this project <br /> by December 31, 1986 but was not able to do so due to the lack of <br /> bids pertaining to the project; and <br /> WHEREAS, an amended project ordinance for this sewer collection system was 1987 <br /> adopted by the Orange County Board of Commissioners on February 2, <br /> appropriating $203,850 in Senate Bill 2 funds for this project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners that in the interests of the health of the citizens <br /> and for the good of the environment of the County, the Board does <br /> hereby formally allocate... Senate Bill 2 sewer funds in the amount of <br /> $203,850 to the Efland Sewer Project; ,: and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> . hereby requests that the State of-North Carolina encumber County;umber $203,$50 <br /> of Senate Bill 2 sewer funds for the use of Orang e <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> that the Board understands that Senate Bill 2 funds must be matched <br /> equally with local funds for the project indicated. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of March, 1987. <br /> Shirley E.
