PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> ORDINANCE: Zoning Ordinance <br /> REFERENCE: .Article 7.20 - PD-MHP Planned Development <br /> Mobile Home Park District <br /> ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT: _X_Staff_X_Planning Board_X_BOCC_.._Public <br /> Other: <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION:__x_High,.Middle Low <br /> Comment: <br /> EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: February 23, 1987 <br /> *********************************************** <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To revise Article 7.20 of the <br /> Zoning Ordinance to address concerns <br /> regarding development standards applicable <br /> to nets mobile home parks. <br /> IMPACTS/ISSUES: On April 7. 19861 the Board of Commissioners <br /> placed a moratorium on the enforcement of <br /> development standards contained in Article 7 . 20 <br /> as applied to existing mobile home parks. The <br /> Board also directed the Planning Board to review <br /> the standards and prepare a recommendation <br /> regarding their application. <br /> On September 16 . 1986, the Board of <br /> Commissioners, acting on the recommendation of <br /> the Planning Board. conducted a public hearing <br /> for the purpose of deleting Article 6.21.1 (a) <br /> of the Zoning Ordinance. The provision made the <br /> standards contained in Article 7 .20 applicable <br /> to existing mobile home parks. <br /> On November 3 . 1986. the Board of Commissioners, <br /> upon the Planning Board' s recommendation. <br /> approved the deletion of Article 6.21 .1 (a) from <br /> the Zoning Ordinance. Further study of the <br /> mobile home park standards and their <br /> applicability was also directed by the Board. <br /> Since November 3. the Planning Board Ordinance <br /> Review Subcommittee has been working with three <br /> mobile home park owner/operators in reviewing <br /> zoning provisions applicable to mobile home <br /> parks. The proposed revisions represent changes <br /> recommended to Article 7.20 as applicable to new <br /> mobile home parks. <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS: See attached. <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENTS: See attached.
