136 <br /> (2) Resource Conservation., Four categories of land have <br /> been depicted on the Land Use Plan for resource <br /> conservation purposes. These categories include <br /> Resource Protection Areas, Public/Private Open Space <br /> Areas. Agricultural Preservation Areas and Water Quality <br /> Critical Areas. (Of particular relevance to OPEN SPACE <br /> are Resource Protection Areas and Public/Private Open <br /> Space Areas.) <br /> (3) Resource Protection Areas designated on the Land Use <br /> Plan include flood plains and wetlands along drainage <br /> tributaries and steep slope areas (15% or greater) . <br /> (4) Major land areas owned or controlled by both public and <br /> private interests in the Joint Planning Area have been <br /> designated on the Land Use Plan.
